Lord Gauranga Deva's Sankirtan booth has manifested on this beautiful summer weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. For our Beloved Gurudeva's pleasure, expertly displayed and beautifully presented by His tireless servitors Sriman Jagadananda Prabhu, Srimati Madhumati Didi and Srimati Divya Shakti Didi, always seeking opportunity, in the mood of audarya, to distribute nectar of Bhakti to the public. Inspired by Gurudeva's mood of service, Srimati Madhumati Didi acquired the booth and took the main part in organizing this event, joined by her husband Jagadananda Prabhu, with his usual enthusiasm in leading Kirtan and heartfelt preaching style. No surprise they were able to capture the attention of many sincere seekers. Among them a lady, who truly made their effort well paid off, was Debra. New to Sri Chaitanya's movement, yet very moved by Srila Sridhar Dev-Goswami's books, she met devotees at the fair and expressed her great attraction for joining with Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math and for the guidance of our beloved Gurudeva. She kept coming back for more and more association.
 

There were many more who had approached with enquiries and expressed their interest in cultivation of Bhakti Yoga as it is presented by our Math. Srimati Madhumati with great enthusiasm and eagerness handed out large quantities of pamphlets and invitations to both ashrams.

Two days of wonderful Seva was highlighted by offering of many books to the well known lead singer, Jon Anderson, of the rock and roll group "Yes" who was repeatedly singing "...Krishna, Krishna, Krishna..." from the grand stage of the festival to the thousands of listeners. Srimati Divya Shakti Didi went straight to the crowd to talk to the people and to distribute pamphlets and books and finally she was able to reach the singer.

A joyful two days of Seva culminated with heart warming Kirtan led by Sriman Jagadananda Prabhu with much appreciated participation of Arindam Krishna Prabhu, his daughter Harmony and other assembled devotees. It was certainly a harmonious day at the Harmony Festival. All glories to Sri Gurudeva, the heart of all these efforts!
