Report by Vrindavanesvari Devi Dasi

These photos are from our recent preaching program at the Festival of India in Fremont, California on Sunday, August 13. Every year, the cultural festival attracts crowds from all over the Bay Area.

For the first time, a lively Harinam party from Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math participated in the parade. Braja Mohini Didi organized this preaching program and invited devotees to chant and represent our line of Krishna Consciousness.

Sripad Janardan Maharaj, Sripad Siddhanti Maharaj, and Sripad Parvat Maharaj led an enthusiastic group of about 30 devotees along the parade route.

Meanwhile, Vaidehi Didi, Sushila Didi, Kamal Krishna Prabhu, and Vidura Krishna Prabhu stayed at our festival booth, distributing sweetballs (made by Madhura Priya Didi) and invitations to our ashrams in Soquel and San Jose.

Sushila Didi also presented a model that she made of Hasyapriya Prabhu's future plans for an expansion of our Soquel Ashram.

Overall, the response was very positive. Hundreds of visitors inquired at the booth, and parade watchers waved and cheered for the devotees chanting, "Hare Krishna!"
