Devotees' new Vegetarian Cafe in downtown Santa Cruz is a winner with the locals. Krishna Madhuri Devi Dasi and Dinartiharo Prabhu head the team of devotees running 'Jumping Monkey' which this week received a particularly good review in the discerning Metroactive Dining section of the local Metro newspaper.

Californian Vaishnava Wall Calendar. For easy reference a wall calendar is now available (70K pdf file) with the main Vaishnava festival dates and fasting dates through to Sri Gaura Purnima 2006. This is in addition to the full list of dates for Soquel California with adjusted Ekadashi Dates, paran times, and additional local festivals already available on-line in pdf format: full list as consecutive pages, and full list laid out ready for printing (200 K each). These calendars have been prepared by Sripad B.P. Janardan Maharaj.
